While the last week of school leading up to Christmas is a lot of fun, it can also be stressful. This activity has been designed to help ease that stress. This lesson plan is intended for Core French students and includes two pdf files, one file to be used for presenting the Christmas story as told in Luke 2 and one with the vocabulary list and activities for students to do as follow-up to the story. Description: While the last week of school leading up to Christmas is a lot of fun, it can also be stressful. This activity has been designed to help ease that stress. This lesson plan is intended for Core French students and includes two pdf files, one file to be used for presenting the Christmas story as told in Luke 2 and one with the vocabulary list and activities for students to do as follow-up to the story. The activities include various types of questions, including some opportunities to draw. You could also expand this lesson to teach students about prepositions (sur, dans, etc.) or emotions (peur, joie, etc.) since these words have been included in this lesson. An answer key is included.
Note: Although this lesson is ideal for Intermediate-Senior level students in Core French, it may be suitable for younger students in French Immersion.
